Put on your dancing shoes
If you spend most of your Saturday nights a gasp at the exploits of Chris Hollins and his partner Ola Jordan, and applauding over Matthew Cutler’s leaps and Lilia Kopylrova spins. Then you are suffering from what is commonly known as the ‘dancing bug’, the cure for which can only be ‘to dance like crazy’.
“But how?” you might ask yourself "can i learn how to dance?". Well; you can either check to see if your local community centre offers classes, of your local church or school and another way is that you opt for a dancing holiday, which are offered at many of the 2 or 3 star hotels around the country. Dancing is a superb way to both keep fit, lower mental stress and have alot of fun, it can also be taken up by people of all ages, which is what makes is so desirable as a holiday and passtime.
There are so many dancing holidays now on offer, all of them ready to teach you the steps you need to become the next Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Chris Hollins and take over the dance floor.
Dancing weekends cover the tuition of everything from the foxtrot and quickstep to the tango and Cha Cha and are organised by professional ex dancers that give you the confidence to try and try again.
You get to practice your dance steps every evening after an afternoon tea and always have your teacher on hand to offer you any advice. Dancing is a superb way to build both confidence and fitness, and you get all the support you need.
Two of our own hotels that offer Ballroom & Latin for beginners are the Victoria 2 star hotel and the Toorak 3 star hotel, both in Torquay.
We’ll leave you will a wonderful video of Lisa and Brendan dancing in strictly come dancing 2008. This is the Cha Cha Cha as mentioned in the title, and we promise that any kind of dancing holiday will leave you feeling as great if not better than you feel watching the lovely Brendan shimmy around the floor.
